KELLY PETRUSAWICH WILSON

Kelly had no idea at the age of 16 when she volunteered to help the activities director of the assisted living community in Oklahoma where her mother worked, that she would come full circle in her career and find the opportunity to apply her legal and communications expertise to serve Senior Living Communities in a different capacity. The unique blend of legal expertise and strategic communication skills that she has honed through diverse experiences across various sectors since her first volunteer experience are well suited for meeting the complex needs of Operators of Assisted Living. 

Kelly’s legal practice spans several areas, including employment law, estate planning, military justice, high-profile litigation communications, and advocacy, particularly in matters related to military housing and military spouse employment. 

Her deep knowledge of these areas is complemented by a strong background in business development, internal communications, and media preparation for executives, ensuring comprehensive support for clients navigating complex legal and public relations landscapes.

With a passion for advocating for military families, Kelly has leveraged her experiences as a military spouse to bring a unique perspective to her legal practice. She has successfully represented clients in various legal matters, including navigating intricate estate planning issues, providing counsel in military justice cases, and advising multi-jurisdictional corporate clients on matters ranging from internal and external communications strategy to resident relations, and policy decisions. 

Beyond her legal practice, Kelly has also played a pivotal role in preparing individuals for high-stakes environments such as Senate hearings, excelling in testimony preparation and media engagement strategies.

As a dedicated parent to three children, Kelly also understands the importance of family and community and is actively involved in all things lacrosse, soccer, and swim. Her ability to juggle professional excellence with family activities reflects a commitment to holistic success and well-being.

As a military spouse she has lived and worked in various locations across the nation and the world, enriching her perspectives and enhancing her ability to connect with diverse clients and communities.
